May 2012:
May of this year, I had the opportunity to travel to Sedona, Arizona to
perform a beautiful outdoor wedding. It was a small, intimate ceremony
for family and friends, with the beautiful backdrop of the Sedona mountains. What an honor it was to create and perform a very special ceremony for this precious Bride and Groom. The Bride has a four year old son from
"another life" and we wanted to include him in the ceremony. I
suggested doing a Sand Ceremony during the wedding and allow the son to pour
his and his baby sister's sand into the vessel after the Bride and Groom poured
theirs. He loved pouring the sand and it made him feel like an important part of the
wedding ceremony.
From Mr. & Mrs. Paulson: "Thank you so much for giving us exactly what we wanted for our wedding ceremony. It was intimate and personal and we could not ask
for a single thing more. You helped make our wedding day perfect."
From Mother of the Bride: "I wanted to tell you that you did a beautiful job on Katie and Brian's ceremony. I loved how personal you made it!"
